The City of Waco is taking sealed proposals for the collection, transportation and disposal of solid waste within the Waco City Limits.
All proposals must be received by 5:00 p.m. July 2, 2026. The contractor should provide 95-gallon, rolling trash containers and weekly curb side pickup with backdoor pickup available as needed. The contractor will be required to operate within local and state laws and ordinances and obtain all necessary licenses and permits. The initial one-year term will begin on September 1, 2026 with an option to renew at the end of the initial term. The sealed proposals will be opened and reviewed by the Mayor and Council at the regular meeting in July 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Waco City Hall.
